Announcing the next generation of Lirix

Lirix has officially been purchased by our new CEO, Jason R. Razarius, who happens to be writing this article.

It has been 6 years, almost 7, since Silcon Graphics was purchased by HPE.

Today I am pleased to announce that our company, Openware Enterprises, has entered a deal with HPE to purchase what remains of SGI, which also grants me complete command and control over MaXX Interactive Desktop, which powers Lirix.

We have been working on a new fork of MaXX Interactive Desktop, under a proprietary license, these past few months that will serve as the basis as a new frontier for Lirix.

Lirix Destructor

Today we announce our new product to the universe: Lirix Destructor, an all-new revolutionary operating framework for the enterprise workstation industry.

Powered by our fork of MaXX Interactive Desktop, hereby to be known as IRIX Interactive Desktop 7.0, as we own the trademark now, Lirix will usher in a new era of efficiency in the workplace and in the studio.

As the Linux kernel is licensed under the GPL, our lawyers say we require to distribute Lirix for free. However, we also recently acquired Red Hat from IBM, and so we will perform a merger at the worst time possible, in order to maximise the number of people calling in for technical support.

Our plans for the future of Lirix will involve migration to a BSD-derived kernel, which we will then use to release IRIX 7.0 on proprietary Openware hardware.

New Features

The brilliant engineers at Openware have introduced some innovative new features to Lirix Destructor; here are a list of those features.

What's next? What's next? What's N X E T?

The end of the universe.
